Practice Information
Katie Hammans Counseling was founded in February 2013 with the goal to provide compassionate, affective therapy to both individuals and families. Occasionally one person can be named as the identified client but often the family dynamic as a whole could benefit from resources and support. Katie enjoys working along side both teens and adults and showing them how their inherent strengths and even the obstacles in their life can serve them in this process. With the influx of Autism diagnoses (now 1 in 44 children), Katie is proud to help support families of those with ASD and education for both the client and support system.

Fees
Intake appointments are 60 minutes and the fee is $150. The therapeutic hour (50-55 min.) session fees are $125. Additional services are prorated based on the therapeutic hour. Other services include report writing for other professionals at your request, telephone conversations lasting longer than 15 minutes, consulting with other professionals with your permission, preparation of records or treatment summaries, and the time spent performing any other services you may request.
Cancellation and No Show Policy
There may are times when you must miss an appointment due to emergencies or obligations for work or family, but when you do not call to cancel an appointment, you may be preventing another client from getting much needed treatment. If an appointment is not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance you will be charged a full session fee of $125.
Insurance and Billing
Katie Hammans is an out-of-network provider, as the practice will not be accepting any contracted insurance companies. A "superbill" can be provided for submittal to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please contact your insurance company with questions regarding your coverage.

Payments must be paid in full at the time of the service. The practice accepts cash, checks, American Express, Discover, Master Card, Visa, HSA (Health Spending Account), and FSA (Flex Spending Account)
