A native of California, Katie Hammans moved to Arizona in 2005 and earned her Masters in Social Work at Arizona State University in 2007. Katie is licensed by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health as a Clinical Social Worker. She is also trained in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) and A.R.T (accelerated resolution therapy). Both modalities offer a faster approach to healing for clients who have encountered trauma or phobias.
Katie has focused her experience on older teens, families and young adults. Clients need someone they feel they can trust while guiding them in the right direction.
